Fund Manager
With over 16 years of extensive experience in investment and research, Mr. Viraj Mehta serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Partner at Enigma Investment Partners LLP. He holds a PGDBM in Finance from MDI, Gurgaon, and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Nirma Institute of Technology (Gujarat University). Previously, Mr. Mehta held the position of Managing Director at Equirus Portfolio Management Services. In this role, he was instrumental in establishing the Portfolio Management Services (PMS) business and assembling the associated team from its inception. He successfully managed a client capital base of approximately ₹11 billion. During his leadership, the Equirus Long Horizon Fund was recognized for its exceptional performance, achieving approximately 25% CAGR returns for its investors over his tenure. Before his association with Equirus, Mr. Mehta was a lead analyst at Franklin Templeton. There, he managed the small companies fund, which subsequently received accolades, including the award for the best small-cap mutual fund scheme from CRISIL and Business Standard. His earlier professional experience also includes a tenure at ValueQuest Capital LLP.
